Any one else have 2003 F250 Super duty 5.4 sluggish on power? Just stepping on the gas? Will be getting some new tires on this week and putting on the plow im afraid it wont have the same power as my 2001 f150 5.4 just from driving it in the woods from camp my hunting crew (some of them drove it also) was saying for my new truck it didn't seem to have the power in the first snow fall and mud in the back roads of the woods?(i thought that too) I'm a little worried tell me I didn't make 14k mistake?

SD's with the 5.4 are sluggish. 4.10 gears help over the more common 3.73's. If I remember correctly, the power is about the same for both 5.4's. The killer is the extra 1500 pounds that SD has over your F150.

My 2003 F-250 5.4L has plenty of zip for me. Don't compare an F-150 with your F-250, as the 250 has to weigh at least 1000 pounds more than the 150.
