Whats up everyone, just wanted to get some opinions out of some fine knowledgeable people in here. I'm looking for a second plow truck this winter and am having a really tough time. Not sure to buy gas or diesel? Living in Toronto and gas being so damn high, i think that it is worth it to buy a diesel. The truck that I am looking at is a 2k2 chev silverado 2500 HD Duramax/w Alison trans, it is the LS model and has 105,000kms. (63,000 miles) on it. Looks decent, went to take a look at it, seems to be in very good shape, no visible evidence of plowing bracketry mounted previously. All for the super low price of 25,995 CAD (21,877 USD). I know that the Duramax had injector problems in the first few years, but also heard that GM voluntarily extended warranty on the injectors for all 2001 and 2002 models to 7 year/200,000 MILES. Let me know what everyone thinks, it would be greatly appreciated.

    2500 Ext Cab

I have a 2004 Chev 2500 Ext Cab with a Blizzard plow and salter. Like new, only 21,000 KM's. Everything professionally installed. (kooy brothers) . It's black, plow prep, rhino lining, tow package, everything done right. I used it 2 seasons to do a 5 car and 10 car parking lot at two buildings that we own. Plowed maybe 20 times total in it's life. We are selling the bigger building and it just makes no sense for me to have such a big truck. Let me know if interested, maybe take over the payments, about 37 left out of 60 to own it, not a lease. We could work something out with the plow, I'll give you the salter.
