I have a 2001 F350 7.3 Diesel super cab with spring code UB and a front GAWR rating of 4800 LB. I want to install a Meyer C8 plow that I have from another truck. I only use this truck to plow my own driveway, which is very long. The plow will come off when not in use and have very little actual travel time. I would also add ballast to the bed when in use. I know this is a low spring rating for a diesel with a plow, but want to know if anyone has used a similar setup for limited use. I'm also wondering if there is an easy way to boost the front springs other than replace them. Thanks for any assistance.
