2001 f-250 price question

    extended cab 4x4 7.3 short bed auto 178,000 miles

    he is asking $9,000 obo

    worth it to put a plow on it and still use for a everyday truck towing 4 or 5 times a year

    Good truck, 7.3 is bullet proof, I would try and get it for about $8k though if it is really clean

    The only thing i would worry about at that mileage would be the transmission. As long as it is solid and you think it will push the snow i think that is a good deal!

    alot of miles on the transmission..i would try for 8K also.

    and oil pan probally on way out he is a bit high, they expect 250k miles out of the engine so plenty left but probally some under neath rust brake lines, i would say 7-7500 max
