Power steering has been slowly declining in assist at low rpms. Put the 810 back on for the season for prep and the power steering doesnt work at idle. Works somewhat ok with plow off... Is my pump failing or would a fluid change be of benefit? Suggestions?

Have you looked at the belt wear indicator? Belt tensioner may be tired?

Belt new, tensioner ok. Order a Motorcraft pump this morning. Will report results. Going to do a flush and put in synthetic ATF as well.

    Check Ur Balljoints.
They may be too tight, been there done that after pump also.
    Mine was growling tho.
Good thing it was on Fords dime.
I also notice a big differance bet sum & winter tires and what
    Type of surface theyre on.
Concrete it tougher and seems to produce more friction vs
    Just my. 02
