2000 chevy 1500 front lift for plow???

    hi i have a 2000 chevy 1500 pick up with a 8' hiniker plow and i need to stiffin up the front end but i dont know what the best way is. thanks for looking

    They are basically bump stops, i would just crank up your torsion bars. I had a western ultra pro on my 99 and never had any problems, plowed with it for 7 years.

    whats the weight on one of those 8' Hinnikers plows? Ive always had 3/4 or 1 tons, so I dont know what these 1/2 tons are rated for up front, but shouldnt you be running a 7.5' on your truck? If you do anything, you could put leveling kit, or timbrens, and crankin the torsion bars like said above.

    I have a 1996 gmc 2500 ex cab long box, is a 9' meyer ok to put on it.

    sounds kind of big to me but you could beaf up the front end
