I saw these torsion bar keys for my 2500hd - i Guess its called a leveling kit. Would this be better than cranking up my torsion bars?

If you want to go higher then 2-3 inches then yes they work. The factory only allows you so high and the bolts bottom out. Remember that you must replace you shocks with longer ones to avoid ripping them apart ( over stretching ) if you go too high.

Chevy specs a measurement for snowplow applications.
inches from center of lower arm mounting point to the ground minus
inches from bottom of lower ball joint to the ground the difference should equal 4.56"
this should be done after all mounts are installed.
    will not require new shocks.
