Im posting these for my brother in law. He has 2 used 8' long stainless steel swenson "V" box salt spreaders for sale. They are hydraulic driven. The chains are about 1yr old and have never ran salt stone only. They are currently mounted on three point hitches but will be removed when sold. Any questions just PM me or text 740-225-5874

    Asking $1500 each OBO

They were used behind two JCB tractors for plowing and spreading stone for traction. They had the contract for a couple townships plowing there roads.

They were mounted sideways behind the tractor and spread the stone from the centerline side.

what would it take for them to run in a truck bed? You said they are hydraulic driven, does this mean a truck needs a hydraulic hookup?

Yes the truck would need hydraulic couplers at the rear of the bed.

They were mounted in F550's with PTO's I believe. They just bolted them to the 3 point hitch frames.
