I am trying to pick new equipment to clear a long (1km - 0.62 mile) narrow single lane 'road' cut through a forest which is slightly hilly and fairly uneven and rocky. Cars can get down it with occasional minor bottoming out during the summer. I need to give access during the winters now.

It is in the Bancroft Ontario area which gets quite a bit of snow. Usually around 5-7' stays around all winter. Occasional huge storms drop 12"-24".

I was thinking a tractor with a snow blower. Ideally it would be more like a UTV since I could use it in the summer for hauling and mowing etc. Any thoughts?

    Cheers,

    Eric

Eric if I was you I would opt for the tractor and blower keeping in mind that you have 1km of road to do so its not that comfortable being in rewind for 1km, I would look for a tractor with a front mount. JMO

How big a blower? 68-80"? I would want to do just one pass of course. How small a tracktor can I get away with? With Kubota for example?
