I am new to the snow removal industry. I purchased a 1999 F250 automatic with 114K miles. The truck was shifting hard but the transmission has a 1 year warranty. I took the truck in to have the transmission replaced and it is doing the same thing. The truck revs high and then jumps into gear. It even idles at a high RPM. I took it to another shop that honored the warranty and they scanned the truck. The mechanic said that it could be a TPS speed sensor issue meaning that the throttle isn't adequately communicating with the transmission. He said that even though this might be the case, the computer scan didn't come back with any red flags. The original transmission shop said that they would try a third transmission. Any ideas/ solutions for me? I'm getting frustrated.

    Thanks,
