Hey guys, my mom's 99 Dakota w/ 5.2L has the same problems I had with my 94 ram. The TC locks in and out now. Does anybody know what the voltage at the Throttle Position Sensor should be? Is it the same sensor as in my 94? If it is, I figure that I can swap mine in and take it for a test drive, and see if it cures it. Maybe I just curse every vehicle I drive, the TPS sensors just die when I am behind the wheel:realmad: ...Dad?... can I take YOUR truck today?:D ;)

The sensor is different. The adjustment isn't necessary on gas trucks,as the ECM will self calibrate it.

I'd check with the dealer to see if there are any flash updates available.
