What do you guys think of using a Dodge Ram truck for snow plowing?

I just added an additional truck to my fleet,

    1997 Dodge Ram
    V8 - 5.2L GAS
    Automatic
    4x4
    160,000K

Well maintained, good interior and exterior..

you think the gas will be a [pain?!?

It is getting up there in miles. I have a 97 and just went over 120000 (3500 diesel). I love it and wouldn't do without it. ...Okay the new dodge ram power wagon is damn nice.

Anyway keep up on all the maintenance, especially the driveline/transmission area. If it is a half ton, timbrens for the front would be nice.

Vancouver B.C... sweet. I am originally from Bellingham.

Yah, Vancouver is the place to be ;)

Yah, I'll post pics of this in a few weeks..

I bought it off my buddy, he's kept it well maintained and tune'd up ..

2nd truck for my plow and landscaping ...

You would need to put a giant sponge on the end of that Dodge instead of a plow right now with all the rain you guys are getting. That is terrible watching the mudslides and I hear you have rain forecast every day this week too. Keep safe and away from the hillsides. :)

I just bought a 1986 dodge ramcharger , cheap , hung a plow on it and it made 2300.00 last night . The miles and gas dont matter you already bought it . Why not hang a blade and let it make money .

Yah, its unfortunate about the mudslide..

It's been raining last week non-stop, I mean NON-STOP and is causing floods and mudslides..

this week its suppose to rain non-stop as well...
