1997 chevy pu blown brake line and abs ?

    blew a brake line in the spare truck a few weeks ago. brought it in today to get fixed. after fixing the lines and trying to bleed it out they could not get any pedal. they figure the abs module/ pump is no good. when bleeding the back the fluid would just ooze out instead of shooting out. same in the front.
    they said it was a common problem with this vintage truck
    $600 from gm or gamble with a used one for $150

    anyone ever have this problem

    Remove ABS module, replumb brake lines around it....problem solved forever!!

    That what I see lot junkyard trucks with abs motor they just use those porti valve it long word I can't remember how spell.

    They bypass abs motor and use valve.

    thats the other alternative is putting a portioning valve in there

    put it on a scanner and run the program for abs bleeding
