Hi everyone, I figured I'd post on here too along with Craigslist and Auto Trader.

1996 Dodge Ram 2500 HD Pick up. 8800 GVW. SLT Laramie! 4X4 with 8' Meyer plow! Truck has 172,000 on the odometer.
Comes with the light bar seen in pictures below. 2 Rear work lights (55W) come with truck as seen in pictures. Both the work lights and light bar are controlled in cab.
Engine and Transmission are both very strong and holding up well.

Just got current Mass Inspection Sticker today! -3/15/12

New engine oil and filter change.

This truck is a beast to plow and tow with!
    Has a 5.9L V8 360 gas motor.
    Heavy duty fan clutch
Custom installed grease fitting on 4WD spline. Help keep the front drive shaft extending and retracting smoothly.
    2 extra plow solenoids!
    Plastic bed liner
Air conditioning and heat work very well!!
Has tow package and pre-wired for trailer brake controller.
Power windows, locks, mirrors. & Cruise control.

    Recent parts installed:
    Recent Bilstein shocks all around.
    Newer Track bar.
    Newer Steering Gear Box
    Frame is fairly clean.
    1 year old Alternator.
Timing chain and cover replaced around 150,000 miles
    Newer plow control.

What it needs -- To my knowledge at the time of writing this ad.
Truck does need cosmetic work on multiple spots of the body --see pictures.
New door hinge bushings and new door seals.
Rear quarter by exhaust needs to get fixed as seen in pictures.
Engine uses about 1 quart of oil every 3,000 miles. But has been that way since I owned it while changing the oil regularly.

    Truck is sold as is.

Reason for selling is that I just purchased a newer truck and this one needs to go. It has been very reliable to me and is a true workhorse!

Come look and make an offer! It needs to go to a new home soon!
Perfect truck for someone who is interested in doing some body work on an otherwise solid and strong work truck!
NO TRADES WHAT SO EVER. CASH ONLY.

    More pictures available upon request.

Message me for questions/ set up a meeting time.

    Price is $1,900 obo.

    -Aaron

LMAO. Beam me up Scotty! Figured it was worth a shot incase you may happen to venture this way.

Fair price for the truck IMO. I don't need it, I just can't pass up a deal LOL.

    Out of curiosity,
Is the body rot the reason for the safety REJECTION stcker

I think he means that he got whatever it was fixed since those pics, but it would be good to know what the problem was. That would be a good back up rig or a leave on the lot truck.

That is correct. It was the only the drivers rocker panel that failed, I fixed it and got a valid sticker a few days ago. Thanks for asking.
