Does anyone know if a 1993 4l60e's (transmission) wiring harness can be made to work in a 1998 k1500. The 1998 also has a 4l60e in it.

    93 4l60 e tranny-

These fit 93-94 model years only ( different wiring harness set up) I have a 93 - would be alot easier to find the right year 4l60 e for your truck ( you should be able to get top dollar for the 93-94 tranny they are rarre as hens' teeth , in decent shape !!! later model tranny's would have better clutch packs, upgrades, etc that the 93-94's don't have- ask the guys on fullsizechevy.com ( pm gmc sid, a chev. mechanic in california) they will tell you what can be done, etc. good web site if you own a FSC !!!
