1991 Gmc 2500 Sierra

    Hi guys
    My husband has a 91 Gmc Sierra extened cab 8ft bed
    will this make a good plow truck looking to get in to the biz
    had a few of our lawn customers call me and asked if we did that
    sounds like a good idea and a great xmas present for him
    and what plow would you recomend

    the truck is 4wd right? its a 3/4ton truck so 8ft or 8.5ft plow would be perfect. fisher, western, meyer, boss, snoway, curtis, blizzard, diamond are just a couple of brands that make perfect plows for the truck. what do your local dealers carry?
     
  3. That would make a great plow truck, assuming its a 4x4 and probably has the 350 engine in it...

    8' long bed with an extra cab makes for a long truck with bad turning radius. Wouldn't be my first choice to plow with. If you are doing roads and large lots it won't be bad, but for small tight driveways it would be a pain.

    yes it is 4 wheel drive with a 454
    he was wondering why i was asking all the questions
    i just told him that my brother wanted to know
