1991 chevy s10 blazer

    i haev a 1991 chevy s10 blazer with a 4.3 and it smoke blue and white steady and when u give it ggas or driving down the road u cant see behind u but when u let off its black smoke and its running on 4 or 5 cylinder wont go past 55 so can some one have any suggustions

    Well, you are listing all three kinds of smoke they make.... blue for oil, white for coolant, and black for excessive fuel.

    If it makes all of those, and runs awful, probably the engine is baffed.

    Do a compression test and compare to a service manual. Each cylinder is not supposed to vary more than 10% from the next. If it does, or the compression is really low overall, you know the answer.
