12"- 18" in nyc area for sat night into sunday!

    what the hell!?

    Where is everyone getting these reports of 18inches from? i looked at the Nation Weather Service and they said 4-8 inches, Weather.com 3-5 inches.
    I have seen no reports of 18inches,,,,sombody actually tried to tell me we where getting 2-4 FEET!

    weather channel, cnn, all say MAYBE 12"+ on LI, but anything over 4" is sweet enough.

    i mean dont get me wrong at this point i be very happy to see 18 inches out there but i just dont see it happening,,,for one its too cold out.

    Its a scare tactic. Media creates a scare by throwing BIG numbers out to people in TV land. Inturn those people run out to the stores and buy up sh#t. Its just another way to keep the economy going. Its a good thing.

    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON NY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING.

    SNOW WILL MOVE IN SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND WILL CONTINUE SATURDAY NIGHT. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF SUNDAY MORNING. FINAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE 8 TO 12 INCHES BY SUNDAY MORNING...     I have a little question for you guys. Lets just say we get 12inches of snow. Normal charge at 3-6 inches $30 dollars a driveway. What would you charge that same person for a foot of snow? Also, do you increase prices at certain depths of snow.

    Just saw the local forecast for the Philadelphia area, NBC channel 10 says anywhere from 8-16" :redbounce be safe out there fellas!! payup

    Here in Northern NJ, NOAA has a Winter Storm Warning for my area, with total snow amounts of 12-18". Time to make some serious money!!!! :waving:

    I always plow twice for 12+ inches - it's in the contract. So for a small $30.00 driveway I would do it twice and the customer would get billed $60.00
