I'm looking to get a 7'6" western or boss blade, I don't know if I should go new or used, or the weight limit. I don't want to split the frame or anything. I have 305-70-16 tires. I found a used one that weighs about 750#. And are they easy to install for an ex-mechanic?(wiring and stuff)

should be fine with 7-6 plow. I bought used for 1/2 price of new. 750 lbs. seems high for 7-6 blade but I'm not sure. ex-mechanic should be able to install??? but I don't know you
