I have a 2008 Silverado 2500HD with 6.0L. The serpentine belts appears to be slipping and then I lose battery voltage. It happens while plowing and carrying the plow while traveling. It seems like the belt is getting snow or water on it and slips causing my ammeter to drop to around 9 volts for about 3-5 seconds. I have also noticed it after coming out of carwash. I tried putting a new belt on but the problem still continues. Anybody else having the same problem or know how to correct it?
