Even if you upgrade the springs its not going to change the fact that the truck is IFS and wont handle a larger plow

I don't want to put a big plow on it. And yea I have looked under my truck and don't see why I couldn't just change the springs, rather then put a leveling kit on it...

Simple, the 2500 springs won't fit, they aren't the same size. The other reason is your 1500 uses a strut design which is completely different then the 2500s. Best option is some bilstein 5100s.

Ok I see now. Who in here runs a leveling kit on their 1500 and what brand would you recommend?

Honestly, bilstien has the best leveling set up for your truck (new strut assemble with adjustable heights)

    And head over to Dodgetalk.com

I have a 2006 Ram 1500 with hell bent steel leveling kit with timbrens and weight in the back and I run a 7'6" Boss V with wings and it squats 1" when the plow is raised. Just plow smart and don't run all over with the plow on.
