Just bought this truck. Reg cab, 8'box. 260k. One owner. It just had complete brakes all corners, u/l ball joints, pitman, and a couple other front end pieces. New wheel bearings front, and the list goes on. Well maintained but needs 1000 worth of paint. No holes just rockers, tailgate and bottom of door rusted.
Here's my dilemma. I Plow with a 92 w250ctd. It won't stop, sips fuel, and I don't put more than 2k into it in a year. It's a tractor, and now that I've driven the silver ado, I crave comfort.
Will I be happy with this truck or should I send it down the road. I'm not sure of the value of them as all the ones for sale have 4 doors and start in the mid teens$

    Any advice is appreciated

That truck is worth about 7500 around here, if that. 260K is a lot of miles. Which body style is it, the GMT800 or 900? IMO the 800s are a lot more comfortable

Classic body style. Just saw post title hahaha. Where is it 7500? Maybe I will sell it. Hmmm. Is 260 really high on a diesel? tymusic

260 for a diesel isn't...terrible. And good, the classic is very very comfortable. The newer body style isn't as comfortable. Around here, according to KBB, a regular cab work truck with that many miles is still worth 14k, in good condition.

In your area, the base regular cab work truck diesel with 260k is worth about 10k. Amazing how much the prices differ from here in New England vs. Minnesota.
