I'm going to home cheapo today and I'm going to build bed rails and a possible gas can holder near my rear window. I'm thinking there are for 2x3. I know a 2x4 obviously won't fit. I just want to make sure it's not some weird off size. Any one have pictures here of their bed rails? And no please, I'm talking about the truck bed rails.....

3 on each side? I have a plastic bed rail protector and it only has two holes. I'll have to look for the hole in the middle if any. So did you have to rip 2x4's to make it fit?

Pretty sure the shortbed only has two on each side.

Maybe only two on the 6'? As I noted, mine is an 8' bed.

    Understood. :)

I was thinking maybe the OP had a shortbed and did not see your 8' bed.
