I just bought a 2004 Silverado 2500 with a 6.0V8, assuming it's the 480LE tranny but not sure. The guy I bought it from said at one point he blew a tranny line and after he got it fixed it started this problem. Any time you shift from park to any forward or reverse gear, or reverse to forward, and vice versa, it shifts slow (takes about 4-5 seconds to engage) There's no slipping, jumping or anything else, just slow when first shifting. Anyone have this problem or have an idea on what it could be? Thanks in advance.

Same thing with my 02 Silverado with original tranny. Unlike my 99 GMC, it automatically goes into gear and ready to go.
