04 2500 ram Meyers plow

    Hey guys long time since I've been on here. I found an 8' Meyers ez classic for the cummins gonna try installing myself. Anyone here do one of these before that could give me some pointers or hints? Also looking for som pics of these set ups will post pic before during and after.:mechanic:

    Picked up plow today night saber lights 7.5 ft Meyers set up for my truck! Now comes the fun part, install!:mechanic:

    The CumminGs should push the MeyerS plow really well. ;)

    take your time. wire everything as neatly as possible. tap into power that turns OFF when the key is OFF. I didn't do that cause I was lazy. If I leave my plow light switch on, it'll drain the batteries after a few days. Same thing with the controller.

    Pretty easy install on your truck but think about a leveling kit if you don't want to hit curbs - the tabs are a little low

    Truck already has leveling kit. Here is with the frame work installed have to do the wiring yet.

    Need to build spacers for the lights to bring them up above the hood! Easy fix

    Those Meyer mounts set the lights low. Looks good!

    what size wire is good to use for the motor. I have I believe 8 gauge will that be heavy enough.

    What is everyone's thoughts on the firestone transforce a/t tires?

    We run the Transforce A/T on my main plow trucks and we get good mileage and traction out of them.

    I would go with a larger gauge wire. Let me know if you need the wiring diagrams or any thing. I know most of it off the top of my head, I installed 2 Meyer plows already this year.

    Got everything wired today will put the blade on tomorrow and get some more pics!!!!
