03 Silverado 3500 4x4 dual battery

    Hey guys,
    I just put the second battery in my truck this week beacuse its dead, the secondary batter wont charge. I pulled the resistor piece of and took it to GM and they say its good
    ??? is there a fuse or breaker for this feature. I only run my salter off the second battery. what the heck is going on...i checked for any broken cables, and nothing...

    Wire the two batteries together with nothing in line.
    and ground them to your engine.

    pos to pos, neg to neg
    no resistor,solenoid or isolator

    lol,,

    To have one of the best set ups for plowing..
    Your on your way.
    two batts is a good start

    Neg from your plow to the neg on a battery.

    The pos off of the solenoid(for your plow) to the pos on your battery.

    Ground both batteries to your engine.

    Lastly double up and or get a second or larger pos lead for your ALTs out put (+) to your pos (+ )on your battery.

    conect both batterys pos to pos also...

    Found The Problem, Secondary Battery Wire Was Coroded Off The Starter!!!!! So I Cut The End Off And Replaced And It Works.....

    funny how they don't work when there not hooked up?.....:drinkup:

    Just a FYI. I made a sticky under chevy trucks on dual batterie install instuctions.
