'03 F-350 questions/help

    new ford owner here:

    got an '03 F-350 6.8L TritonV10, automatic, reg cab, 4X4, 98,000 miles.

    my problems:
    1. occasionally, the ABS light will come on and the speedometer will drop down. it only lasts a second then back to normal. any ideas?

    2. engine is missing. first step would be.....? keep in mind i'm not mechanically inclined at all. spark plugs? injector cleaner? take it to a mechanic?

    you might have a coil pack going to cause it to misss. check out ford-trucks.com and try posting there to.

    Problem one could be a bad ground in the instrument cluster. For problem two I would try Lucas fuel treatment for your injectors. Mix it a little rich and do it for two or three tanks of fuel. Also make sure you are buying good fuel, especially while you're trying to diagnose this miss.
