I have a 02 GMC 1500 that I am going to buy a new plow for and add to the fleet for some of my smaller accounts.

What size plow can this truck handle? And what is the best out there for the money in lighter plows?

Just bought a new 8'2" VXT Poly Boss for my other truck. Wish I could get another but not on a 1500. :dizzy:

Had a Boss 7-6 standard duty on my old 2000 1500, which I have since sold, I think it was about perfect. I contemplated putting a 7-6 V on it, as it was only a little over weight. The 7-6v is like 80 lbs lighter than the 8-2, but its still overweight, If its a regular cab and not an extended cab I think you can put the 7-6v and be within the weight range

Fisher 7.6' or 8'. Add Timbrens and plow on!
