Fish stick controller?

i'm having my driveway sealcoated and had to move my plow, well once i hooked it up every button on my controller i hit made the plow go right and wouldnt even go up. I switched controllers and it worked fine. I looked at the wires and connector and all looks good. Can the pad inside be causing this and need replacing?..weird on to me..Thanks

Mine did that last season but it went left, I took the controller apart and used a Qtip with a little isopropyl alcohol on it worked fine after that. Good thing you had a back up! I didn't LOL
