How tight should the bolt be at the pivot point. I have a 8' super duty?

Which point are to talking about? Normal wear can always be assumed and its just how it is. If its where the blade bolts to the quardrant the bolts are to be tightened as far down on the threads as they go. No tighter. Where the A-frame meets the quadrant is a normal wear point. The points where the A-frame meets the light tower is another point. Just make sure to add a little grease to those pins every now and then. Thats a really typical spot for wear. And a lot of people say the holes egg out in that spot. And they do, if you don't take the pins out and grease them every now and then. Hopefully 1 of those answers your question.
