This is a good post. That is a good idea to eliminate far away and less profitable contracts. Everyone gets a marginal increase every year from us though. And anyone who suggests a discount this year because of the light year last winter won't fit in our route. Can't have people as customers who think they are getting worked over from the beginning. They are buying a spot in my route whether it snows twice or thirty times. Anyone who doesn't get that can find someone else. Just like an insurance policy that doesn't give a refund when you don't make a claim, neither do we. On the flip side we didn't ask for more money at the end of the 11-12 season when we got two winters worth just because I "felt it isn't fair".

I haven't really thought much about it yet. But I may not, I increased prices last winter, and I know that I am more expensive than some companies around, so I may just keep most the same. Maybe raise the PAIN accounts a little bit.

we arent raising our rates either this year just doing some restructuring last year we had problems with low ballers well like every year but it seems last year was worse more boxes and less trucks
