A few things to note - money not too much of a concern but don't want to be too crazy
- I do condos and light industral and commercial ( a few strip malls)
- REALLY interested in a quick attach model ( my meyer is older and sucks to take on and off.)

Also looking for info on a box sander. My 2005 is a long box any advise on here would be great appreciated as well.
I would suggest a Fisher XLS or 9.5' Xtreme V. I think the XLS might be a little better for your situation. I like the XLS better than the Blizzard 8100PP and the Western Wide Out because the Fisher has a trip edge. For a sander I would suggest a 1.8 yard Fisher Poly Caster. (The Fisher Poly Caster, the Western Tornado, and the Blizzard Ice Chaser are all the same just different colors.)

While MM may recommend a Fisher XLS or 9.5 ,V Fisher doesn't. In fact unless you have a cab and chassis they (Fisher) have no recommended fits for the 05 Dodge Diesel.

Snoway offers a V, Boss offers a 8'6" straight blade, Meyer offers a Vee, But the DD triplets have nothing has an approved fit.

I have a wideout on a 3/4 ton ford and it holds it just fine. I see no reason why you cant put a xls on a 1 ton

Dont want to veer away too off-topic, but my question is how good are snow plows on hard pack? In Alberta, there is a lot of dry snow, and in high traffic commercial lots, it gets packed down really good. Can plows handle this or do they just skim over the top and clean the loose snow?

Try a Snoway with Hydraulic down pressure

I plow with an 06 Ram...sometimes. It has a Hiniker on it and even though I have n complaints with it I would really like to try a wing plow similar to the Blizzard or Western Wideout. When choosing a plow be sure you have dealer support in your area.
