I forgot to add pictures of the wings I made for my MD75. Here they are.
With the wings it is 8 foot, 6 inches wide. The wings angle forward about 20 Degrees.
So it scoops snow very nicely. It cut our lot times by 30 % roughly. I added braces between the back ribs to strengthen it up. Did a couple 12 inch snow falls and a 20 inch snowstorm, plus all the multiple 2-4 inch regular stuff and it has held up like a dream...

fab work looks awesome. Another way you could keep the box tube from breaking would be to sleeve the bolt holes with tube. not sure if you have the ability to weld the stainless on your own but it would help.

Antlar,
The MD75 is holding up fine.
I know it is a medium duty plow and not built as strong as the HD.
The MD75 was designed for full size trucks 1/2 ton size.
I use it far harder than it was designed for, that is for sure.
The early MD's had some issues but SnowDogg, did change and beef up
some of the early weak spots. I did that on our first one that is almost 5 years old.
(the pivot area)
A HD model would have been better for us, as it is built MUCH stronger, but I really can not complain about the MD as it is a great plow for what it was designed for.
When I bought it, I was looking at the lighter weight of it compared to the HD and that is why we went with it. It was a gamble to see if it would hold up or not !
I probably put more hours on it in one season, than most will do in 4 or 5 seasons.
Stuff if starting to get worn on it now, but what 5 year old plow used hard commercially doesnt get worn out eventually ? My pivot holes are getting sloppy on the one plow, But that is something we can take care of. (My Dad owned a Steel Fab shop for 35 years)
So if I couldnt take care of it, I would feel like I let Dad down..

Would like to see a few close pics of how the wings are mounted and what you built them out of?
I added braces up the back of the extension after the mounting holes showed signs of cracking. (this after a full season of hard use.)
I dont have the pictures on this pc, will try and post at work tomorrow If I get a chance.

Having trouble loading pictures?. Will try and take some more pictures later.
The wings are some 3/16 scrap metal we had laying out back. Welded to some 3/8 plate 6 inches wide. which are welded to the curved 1/4 inch plate cut out in the same shape as the supports up the back.
The braces are 1 by 2 rectangular tubing.
On the first one I did, the 2 braces were too high, and I bent the 3/16 wing near the bottom.
Later I added one more brace near the bottom to prevent it from bending. worked perfect.
My second set of wings we made, i put the brace near the bottom to prevent bending and
it has worked perfectly.
It is bolted on with 1/2 inch bolts. Off and on in about a minute if need
.

Heres one shot I got to load This is the 2nd set of wings. The brace is nearer the bottom on this one. Its not bolted on yet. You can just barely see the 1/2 inch holes thru the 3/8 plate if you look close.
You can also see the 1 inch aquare tube we added between the ribs.

Heres another. This is the first set. We added the bottom brace after bending the bottom corner ..You can see 2 of the 3 bolts holding it on. the 3rd bolt is hidden below the bottom brace.
Also in this shot, you can see the brace added for the top extension we made the plow 6 inch taller.
