Its snowing now, I just realized that the cable on the Speedwing is frayed and snapped. Its must have happened right at the end of the last storm because I didn't notice the passenger side wing not functioning the way it should. The last storm I came out of a pile and the plow unhooked too, because one of the pins sheared. So I've ended up having more issues with this then the Western, but I like that you can still use the plow despite the cable busting.

I doubt we will have to plow tonight so I wouldent be to worried. Its a real dry snow, can't wait to test out the liquid! Thanks for the comments on Terra, its really changed since the last contractor that had it a few years ago. Definitly our flagship property.

Which pin? Have not had a problem with any pins shearing since the R-pins with washers were included in the receiver pin kits and the spring loaded hitch pins were redesigned.

I don't know why I said it sheared, it was a pin that had a cotter pin in it, and that came off. So the one side of the plow unhooked.

Tell me about it, never got the cable fixed on my Blizzard, and I was dead tired. Got to use the snow bucket though, the operator said he was happy with it. He should used the pusher because it was lighter snow but whatever.

What plow crapped out on you?

Nice equipment, do you have any problems with having a blue becon light on the 205? I have one but its only using when I am going to a firecall in my truck. What did you bucket set you back? Unsure of weather to buy a couple buckets or lease snow pushers or Mather just buy one snow pusher. Thanks everything looks good

Looks like business is pretty good, always enjoy seeing well kept equipment. You said right at the start you were in Landscape Design Classes. Are you still doing those?

If your having trouble with the long pushes on your skidloader try running a larger set of tires, 22.5's. We run those on our S300's and S250's but you might be better off with 19.5's for your 205. It helps a ridiculous amount.

No the blue light isn't a problem around here, that and a orange yield trangle and we aren't bothered. The bucket was 1300 bucks, better than a pusher......

Business has been good this year, I've been out 5 times overall, one big storm and a few small ones. Thanks for the compliment on the equipment. I did the first level of landscape design before it started getting into hand drawn drafting and such, I don't think I'm going to continue because that isn't what I want to pursue. I am in horticulture right now for a little background information.

I was thinking of looking into that, the last few storms have been fine, a counterweight would have helped for sure. The snow bucket has been leaps and bounds better for the traction issue actually. Its not quite as efficient as a pusher is but does the trick.

May sound dumb but I already sold the other pusher, that deal actually worked out pretty well. We got a new account at a building supply store which was skids of random crap everywhere so the bucket is much better for backdragging. And its a lot cheaper than a pusher.
