snoex 3000 salt spreader

I am thinking about purchasing a SNOEX SP3000 salt spreader for my 3/4 ton Chevy silverado and I was wondering if any of you have used this model and what you think of it opposed to the SNO-WAY 5EVSS.

I have a snow ex 3000. Bought it used, 4 seasons ago. Never had any problems with it other than size. It's so small at about 1/2 a yard that I installed 20 inch wood sides. It now easily holds 1 ton. It has easily run 30 to 50 ton a season of bulk or treated for me. Stock, at today's new prices I consider it high cost for the hopper size.

Thank you for your response it will help me on my decision, however I am still wanting to get a larger salter and I am still up in the air about the different brands of vbox spreaders and how well they work I am thinking more towards the sno ex 6000 now so I can cover more of an area before filling up again, any more thoughts?

Lol. Own one of those also. It's ok. No real problems. If in a regular truck I would make sure to have 2 vibrators on it. I run it in a 1 ton dump and regularly the bed gets tilted because mine only has 1 and I run treated salt. . Dont remember if white goes ok or sticks a little. That model is not known for having the best flow.

Not sure the next one will be snow ex (currently have 4). Cost wise I might look at a salt dog.
