ls-180 repair

Resently purchased a 2001 New Holland ls-180, great machine but loader arms have a lot of slop. So the magic question how difficult is it to replace pin and bushings in the loader arms. sites, web rooms books and also approx. cost........... THANKS......................

Not very. If its the pins in the end of the arms where the bucket attaches it a piece of cake, if you're talking the other end then it'll take some time, patience, blocking, a chain fall would help, some swearing, a few helpers and a case or two of beer. Your local New Holland dealer should be able to get you a manual on that machine pretty easily but if not they will have the schematics on hand. Just have them print you a copy of them.

LS 180s were sloppy even when new, how many hours on that beast?

3200 hrs, according to previous work records no pins have ever been replaced. Lots of slop side to side, parts are on order, does not look like a fun project !!!!!!
