I was reading where you can't plow with the wings not open? Is this true? I mean I'll find out sooner or later but will it damage the truck with out the wings open? I'm asking because I would like to at-least open the lots up without using the wings? Why? Because when i get to the lot I would have to get out of the truck to open the wings. A few of my lots are on main roads. Stopping on the main road to open the wings would not be safe and driving into a lot with out the plow down isnt productive.

I had to do all of the same with my new wings. I must say the paint job is really nice. And I almost can't wait for our first storm to try these little suckers out.

Thanks for the info!! Good Deal!! These wings just might be worth all the money I spent on them and the 100.00 bucks in drill bits to install them.

I got a 3/8 metal bit 22.95. Broke the first one. Bent the next 2. The last one did the trick.
