True basher,,,,didn't wanna bring up OLD plows lol. And I thought the true term was electric over hydraulic? Couldnt really do a shock. The shock would limit up and dwn movement

If you have the correct one it wouldn't,,,,I was thinking of the Western shock....its so small it really wouldn't work. Just had that shock in my head 2cor. An auto one could work

If you place the shock betwixt the scraper edge and the ground, it will OBVIOUSLY limit up and down movement.

What if I use a shock in place of the chain? I know some guys tried a 2x4 with poor results

Come on not even surveyors use them anymore. Only place i know they still use chains as a rule is the NFL.
