My employee decided it was a good idea to try to back drag 10'' of heavy snow down a 100' long driveway and slid off into a tree. I know for sure I did not teach him to do things like that. But I guess I never told him not to do that. LOL

That's a bummer! At least it was just a tree and not a customers car or there house. Good thing for insurance .

I always wondered how people managed to get marks on their trucks right there, at least now I have one possibility to think thats how they did it.

Sucks that it even happened though, employee have any good story to go with it?

Yup, "I was just backing up and I didn't see the tree. I don't know how it happened.'' LOL I didn't even get mad. I was so confused I just laughed. It was a big loss in production because he was to scared to plow the driveway after that so he shoveled it all.

I would have been confused too, not sure how he backed the truck up sideways haha. The good thing is that no one was hurt, except maybe his pride.

my boss keeps 2-3 chevy 8 foot beds around for his fleet of 10 or so chevy trucks for when this happens he buys them whenever he can find them at a good price.
