Fluid Film & Electrical Problems....Fluke??

I have a 98 Dodge Ram 2500. I recently purchased a case of Fluid Film and coated the whole underside of my truck and let it dry for a day. When I took the truck out the next day, the speedo didn't work and the check engine light came on, turns out it was a bad speed sensor which is located on the rear axle.After it was replaced I took it for a spin and noticed the trans temp guage wasn't working. It turns out it was a bad sending unit on the pan. Would Fluid Film have any effect on these components or was it just a fluke?

They were due to fail. FF on electrical components all the time and no issues.
