Hand controller

Can I use one of the new hand held controllers on my older 810 / 8611 units ?

and if so does any one know the cost of them ?? Thanks Karl

I'm not to positive about the new controller. I do believe someone mentioned that there not inter changeable but don't hold me to it. I'm pretty sure the new blades wont even mount up to the new frame mounts. I have the very first version from Universal Control. "PROTOTYPE" It worked awesome and now there in production. There is a link on this forum for them just have to wait for it to pop up I guess.

Here is the link to a thread I started about it. Pictures and very in depth instructions and conversation. Jerre from Penn. "The BLizzard GOD" has or had a ton of these. I used it on all 28 pushes last year and not one problem. Hope this helps you out

I much prefer the square box that I stick on my leg. Why would you want to hold something in your hand while plowing? That would annoy me. I use both my hands to shift and steer already.
