Curtis pump spining but not working

i got a snow-pro 3000 and just today its giving me major issues. Every control including the jack is making the motor spin but i am getting no hydraulic action. I drained what was in the resivor and refilled it and nothing . I know i am due for a full flush but i was hoping for some quick diagnostic help.

you will have to check if there is a ground on the orange wire in the aframe for the coils.The wires at the controller in the cab has the same colors in the plow for power at the coils. red lift green float white right angle blue left angle and jack from the aframe switch blue with black strip extend pink with black retract

Angelo, Thanks for the info. I will get the meeter on it and let you know what i find out.

you wouldn't happen to have a schematic for the pinout of the large connector on the vehicle side? It just may be handy to have around.

As it turns out the problem was at the vehicle side wiring harness connecter (right where the wires go into the molded end).

I picked up a new end from the parts distributor down the st and there is a slight difference. The existing plug doesn't have any terminals in sockets 10, 15 and the new one dose.

also it looked like the existing harness had 2 orange wires going into it and the new end only has one. I am not 100% on that but pretty sure, i was getting tired and it was getting dark. any more help???

I was thinking about it all night and i tackled it this morning. Just to be 100% i only cut one wire at a time and checked continuity to each socket. As it turns out there were 2 brown wires in the old harness that connect to the one brown wire in the new harness and the same for the orange.

did you have to buy a whole new wiring harness for the vehichle side or is there a repair end? I ask cause i too have a bad vehicle side plug

They sell the replacement end. The new harness end is about 12" long leads. Its about $40. sorry i don't remember the p/n but i already threw out the bag.

i think the p/n started with UTH (universal truck harness).
