Can you take a cable operated sehp pump and make it so that it is an electric pump like a mm1 or mm2

i think so but u have to change the vavle body to a sehp instead of the cehp cable style

unbolt cable box /valve combo and bolt up electric parts and wire it up.

and fyi western pumps share a lot of these parts but were just shorter lift ram and painted red.

Hey Sweet, it's been awhile. That's not entirely true..Fisher also used the shorter EHP's SEHP's. Other then color...they're all the same.

To the OP....I'm not 100% sure on this because I've never tried to convert them, however, with that being said, I've done countless tear downs on the EHP & SEHP pumps, I've even had the chance to do some side by side. I can tell you first hand, the castings on the reservoirs are not the same. I'm all but postive, that it can't be done. Now, there is nothing that says that you can't find a used SEHP (There are plenty out there), and simply exchange it for the EHP.

I found a cable operated pump without a motor for short money.I'm just trying to figure out if its worth it to buy it,convert it and put a motor on it.Here is a picture of it.Its the silver one in the other is a western.

Both of those are EHP's, you can't put a Solenoid Valve body on those casting....

This is a SEHP...notice the difference.?.?

Absolutely. I'm looking to swap a friends old setup over myself...but where it's a charity deal, I'm not looking to spend alot. If you swap over, and your controller for the EHP is good, I would consider buying it off you. I'm all but positive that's his biggest issue right now. Keep me in mind if you get to that point.
