sno pro 3000 jack stand

So my jack stand has not been working on my sno pro 3000 since last season. The pump runs when I hit the switch, but nothing happens. I am going to change the fluid and clean the valves this weekend. However, on a hunch.....the hunch being the jack would never retract when I would push the button to retract it, I unbolted the jack from the bottom of the plow and the ears that sits on the piston was sheared right off! I'm going to try and weld up a new ear on the jack my other question is does anyone know where I can get a schematic of how the jack ears goes onto the piston, in relation to the retract spring?

the ears slide between the spring and cylander........just had mine apart changinig jack return spring

Awesome! How much tension needs to be on that spring?......which nut do I turn to tighten up the tension?

There are 3 nuts 2 that tighten the jack rod to the aframe and one to tighten the spring.

Well I think I found the problem then. There are only two nuts on it....one is missing from the a frame
