Could one of these dual hitch adapters allow you to get one?

You think that could hold the weight of a the spreader when it's full?

This response is from eTrailer crew...

You could ask them for a more specific response...

Trust me- you wont be sending this back within 30 days...youre gonna love it. I just got my second one for another one of my trucks and its the best thing out. No wiring, no nothing...just plug and go- and it looks cool on the truck too.

We also have a slide on model - its just the utlity lights, no strobe. If you have a 1" clearance between your hitch receiver and your sander, it would just slide over the hitch on your sander. you can check it out on www.back-upbuddy.com.

got the all LED model... love it - its very bright. finally tightened up the lights a bit they were spinning a bunch. someone must have backed into to many snowbanks

on your jeep it would probably be like having your KC's facing back-ish

I have submerged mine in fresh water pulling out my jet ski and did not have any issues, but cannot guarantee it. Like any electrical component its not recommended. The bulbs are sealed but the housing on the halogens are not. The LED lights and housings are sealed. I have had a strobe model with 50Watt Halogens on the back of my truck for three years with a sander running right above it, spraying sand and salt all over it and haven't had a problem. Again I don't recommend submersion and cannot guarantee it.

As far as the output on the lights - The halogen is a flood beam, the LED is a narrower beam. The halogen lights are a more yellowish light versus the LED which are a whiter light. If you go to page one or two of this thread I have posted pictures of the different lights.

If you have any other questions let me know.

Snowex Spreader

Hi Jerry
From what I can tell it looks like you should have no problem. Once you get the spreader is installed take a look at the dimensions. When the Back-up Buddy unit is in the hitch receiver, the top of the unit will be 1 inch up from the hitch receiver and the lights will extend out to the left and right 9 inches from the hitch receiver. If you purchase and it doesn't work for you, we do offer a "no hassle" 30 day money back guarantee. Hope this help let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks
Gary
