Looking for opinions

This is only my second year doing this and am hoping to add a v plow on my truck (2005 2500HD) . My question is i also have a 2005 Chevy 1500 and am considering putting my st90 on it for a back up just incase i need it. Are any of you using or have experience using a half ton with a plow similar to the weight of this one which is in the range of 700lbs as far as it holding up? Thank You
