chicago area bagged salt prices...

hey snow pushers,
another season is creeping up upon us. i was looking to see if salt companies around chicagoland have released prices yet? if not, does anyone know where i can get BAGGED salt, BAGGED calcium cholride, and possibly BAGGED sand??? i've found $1.85 a bag of sand so far but have not pulled the trigger yet to see if i can find cheapier.

I haven't seen actual prices yet but I talked with my supplier last week and he is keeping his price the same as last year.

Were are you going for salt?

I was getting it from Area supply in Mokena. They are a little higher but I can also call them at 2:00AM and pick up more if I ever got jambed up.

Price was 223.00 per pallet regular rock salt.

From what I have been seeing prices are near what they were last year. I d b happy to sell ya some but transportation would kill ya.

I was paying $2.75 per bag last year, full semi-loads. Hell, i pre-ordered all mine last year...well needless to say, I am still sitting on 3 semis. UGH!!!
