for the most part sand is fairly cheap and depending on how "hot" you mix it with salt will determine how much you can charge for it..... generally the guys will do cost of material (an / or a markup of 2 to three times the cost of the mix) and a time charge.....
IE...
If your hourly rate is $100 per hour and your mix costs are $20 per ton .... you would charge it at $100 assuming its an hour (time to get there , spread it, and get back) and anywhere from 20-60 assuming your spreading a ton for the product....so you'd charge 120-160 per application...HIH
