1988 K3500 I just bought... RARE FIND

Extremely excited.... I just found this 1988 K3500 all original one owner 49K original miles!

Came with older style conventional Fisher 8 foot plow.

Underneath is clean clean clean rust free.... there is one cab corner starting to rust through.

Completely unmolested 5.7L TBI with original smog stuff and all. Clean interior, work truck package stripped.

What a great plow truck! This puppy is getting a fresh coat of paint and steel wheels repainted, Stock look I like.

Anyone know what GVW it would be? And I assume its a TH400 since its only a 3 speed.

pics to follow

Nice find. I loved my 1989 Chevy 2500 with an 8' Fisher Speed Cast. That truck will make you a great plow truck. The transmission should be a 400.

Nice find! My most favorite plow truck to date was my 89 chevy 2500. Only trouble I had with it was the cv u-joints.

Yes its a K3500... I even have the build sheet... but in reality its the same ratings as a modern day 3/4 ton pickup.

Just paint, I think I mentioned that in the orig post. I like the simplicity of steel wheels and center caps.
