tracks or tires on a skid

hey guys is tracks or tires on a skid steer better in snow.
and what are some of the pro and cons of the two thanks

pros of tracks- they float better, and you can actually drive up a snow pile to pile it higher.
cons- they float, so you slide more, makes cleaning parking stalls sketchy as your sliding more in between cars.

pros of tires- in my opinion, better traction, especially if you get the snow tires. and they are way cheaper.
cons of tires- not really sure.

Tracks suck. I guess I should preface that by saying the ASV style tracks are good, but all others suck. If its for mostly snow, they go with tires. Its not even something to think about. Go tires. My T300 is pretty much useless I hate the snow. It barely pushes a standard bucket of snow. And don't even try to go into a loading dock.

It all depends on what you want out ouf your machine we run a A300 with the wide turf tires and it does great with a 10' Kage. We also have a T870 that with stock tracks you might as well leave it at home but we went ahead with a set of Bridgestone Polar Treads and it will push our Machinability 10' pusher with it rolling over the top. Before these 2 loaders we had a ASV SR80 and it did great to. So like I say it depends on what you want in the end and what your willing to spend.
